Honor a Sister Build the Alpha Delta Kappa Foundation Honor a Sister is an opportunity for members to let an Alpha Delta Kappa sister know how valuable she is and to bestow an honor “just because.” Funds generated will help to increase our International altruistic projects, increase the amounts of our current scholarships, create additional scholarships and expand our altruistic efforts. Thank you for your donation as you “Honor a Sister.” Honorees’ and donors’ names will be listed in the KAPPAN and on the Alpha Delta Kappa website.

Amount (minimum $25 per honoree) Building the Future Through Charitable Donations Through the Alpha Delta Kappa Foundation, established in 1981, members reach out to others in two very significant ways. First, the Foundation awards more than a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships biennially through its scholarships and grants programs. The many lives these scholarships have enriched are testimony to the collective effort of our members. Secondly, through its International altruistic projects, the Foundation has contributed more than one million dollars to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and 2013 International Convention delegates chose the Alzheimer’s Association in Chicago, Illinois as its second International altruistic project.
