CONFERENCE

Water is an essential ingredient for a society’s development. In the recent decades, water resources have been under severe stress in terms of quantity and quality. If we are to guarantee the future generation a better world to live, we have to judiciously manage and protect the existing water resources at global as well as local levels. This international conference is aimed at bringing together an eminent body of scholars and experts from around the world to share water-related research.

Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering was established in the year 1997 under the aegis of educational trust MANSAS (Maharaj Alak Narayana Society of Arts and Sciences) founded by Late Dr. PVG Raju, Raja Saheb of Vizianagaram. The college offers 7 UG & PG programmes in Machine Design, Structural Engineering, VLSI, CSE, CNIS, Power systems and Business Administration. The institution in collaboration with PTC, Siemens, WIPRO, TCS, Oracle, Ni Lab View, IIRS, CISCO and other reputed national level organizations offering additional skill development programs. The institute is ranked 13 in Top 20 Engineering Colleges in India with Excellent Industry Exposure.

Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2009 offers UG in Civil Engineering and PG in Structural Engineering is accredited by NBA. The Department has state of the art infrastructure & well equipped laboratories 28 well qualified faculty with a blend of industry, R&D and teaching experience in varied specializations offer teaching-learning services.The department has a dedicated Computer Centre & Research Centre promoting active research. The department has certified competency for skill development leading to award of certification in Remote Sensing and STAAD.Pro in collaboration with Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) and Bentley respectively.The department also offers consultancy services to various Govt. and Pvt. organizations.
