Recreational $45.50 each Competitive swimmers are allowed to swim in area carnivals to represent the club, whereas, Recreational swimmers are only allowed to swim within the club nights and club championships. We are a Swimming Queensland and Wide Bay Swimming Affiliated club and we participate in area carnivals held throughout the season.

About the Club Mary River Swim Club Inc. is a community swimming club, founded for the purpose of promoting the sport of swimming amongst the youth of our community. The Mary River Swim Club is a not for profit swimming team based in Maryborough Queensland. We are committed to the long term growth and development of swimmers and aim to be recognized as a charitable, social and family orientated club.

Club Membership Membership is open to all irrespective of age. Membership fees and details may be obtained from the either the Registrar, Secretary or President. Only club members can compete in races in the club program or represent the club at carnivals. Swimmers can swim on the day that they join.

Club Nights are held each Thursday night from October through to March. Events are held for children from 12.5m races for beginners through to long distance events.

Children race against swimmers of similar ability but the focus is on each child racing against their own best time. The swimmers are encouraged to try to “Do a PB!” (personal best).

What does it Cost?

Children must be accompanied to club nights by an adult. New swimmers are allowed to attend 2 club nights as a trial before joining Mary River Rockets.

Club Championships

Club Night fees:

Club Championships are held at the end of the season. All members who have attended 75% of all club nights are eligible to attend.
