How do I request a Mass Intention?
Mass Envelopes are at the back of church or sacristy to fill in the details or make your own with the name, family or event you’d like t o offer a Mass for + if you have a special date in mind (or as near to) and if the person is alive (Int) or deceased (RIP) + a contact. The Dioceses recommended offering (parish donation) is £10 a Mass or whatever is affordable.
Information about the Sacraments On weekdays & Saturday morning, Mass is celebrated in the Blessed Cyprian Tansi Oratory in the Presbytery & you can request Confession during the Holy Hour. Preparation courses for baptism & reception are throughout the year & Reconciliation + Holy Communion begins after Christmas. The Bishop celebrates Confirmation in our parish every other year & Marriage preparation is with each couple.

Sunday 7th September, 10am Mass. This will be followed by bacon butties & a 30 minute meeting at 12 noon about a Briars Retreat involving people from years 9 to 13 from around our deanery (Friday 3rd at 4.30pm to Sunday 5th October at 2pm). If you would like to help prepare the Mass, come along to the church this Thursday 4th September at 7pm.
