Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili attended the opening of the Energy Efficient Immersion Cooling Data Center by BitFury Group, the leading Bitcoin Blockchain infrastructure provider and transaction processing company. The center is located in Tbilisi and will have a capacity of 40 MW of electricity. “I would like to welcome the presence of BitFury Group in Georgia. BitFury has already invested 30 million USD through the support of the Co-investment Fund. BitFury entering Georgia is a good indication of the improved investment climate in our country and this is very promising for us. Our government continues to encourage and promote investments. Please note that the opening of a free industrial zone is an additional stimulus for other companies to make investments,” stated the Prime Minister Garibashvili. After BitFury carried out its first successful project in Gori, the company expanded its business activities in Georgia. BitFury has also started an independent project in Gldani to create a free industrial zone on 18 hectares of land. The project seeks to attract foreign direct investment to Georgia, encouraging international IT companies to explore business opportunities in the country. An ultra-premium winery “Schuchmann Wines Georgia” will promote welness tourism in the country. According to the company’s Director General, work on the design of “Schuchmann wine spa” complex has already begun. Nutsa Abramishvili says it’s going to be a complex offering relaxing, spa and wellness procedures . In her words, the company’s goal is to create local brand focused on recreational tourism that has great potential in Georgia. The hotel’s general manager stated, however, herefrained from revealing details at this stage. In his words, the company’s objective is to provide maximum comfort to clients. The network of hotels united in Koc Holding, the major industrial group of Turkey, is developing Divan Group hotels all over the world. The investor has rented the site for the hotel construction from a private owner for a period of 20 years. The investment value of the four-floor hotel Divan Batumi with 65 suites is 10 million USD.
