Desktop Publishing Final Exam Part II – Summative Project (70% of Final Exam Grade)

Overview: Create a second web page using Google Sites. The purpose of this page is to compile the resources utilized over the course of this class in an organized fashion. You will also locate and include additional resources as instructed. Instructions: 1. Go to http://www.sites.google.com 2. Click on “Create New Site” 3. Choose a TEMPLATE 4. Name your site as follows: sites.google.com/site/mrmonkswebresources (use your name instead of Mr.Monk…name it correctly, or points will be deducted!) 5. Type in Verification Code 6. Create a page for each of the following TYPES of software that we have used in the class:       

Newsletters (2) Timelines (3) Movies (3) Word Clouds (3) Digital Stories (3) Animation (2) Other Cool Stuff (2)

(Be sure to title each page based on the above list) 7. On the individual page for each type of software, include links to programs that can be used to create that type of project. Be sure to include the number of links specified above. (For example, on the Newsletter page of your site, include links to 2 web pages that would allow a user to create newsletters. On the Digital Stories page of your site, include links to 3 web pages that can be used to create digital stories.)

8. Include at least 3 images to make your site more appealing. 9. Once page is complete and PUBLISHED, send link to instructor: [email protected] Grading: For specifics on grading, see rubric here.
