Consistent with efforts to streamline the administrative oversight of the One-Stop Shop and Duty Drawback Center (CENTER), the cashiering and related functions being performed by the Acting Cashier Ms. Evelyn C. Difuntorum is hereby transferred to the Department of Finance Cashier. This will include actual turnover of monetary accountabilities, passbooks, financial records and accountable forms from Ms. Difuntorum to the DOF Cashier. Inventory and change of bank signatories, as necessary, should be accomplished at the soonest time possible in order that complete transfer may be effected not later than 15 October 1998. The DOF Cashier shall starting 16 October 1998 be responsible for the collection and disbursement of CENTER funds, subject to existing COA rules and regulations. This Order takes effect immediately and Department Personnel Order No. 59-92 dated 5 May 1992 is accordingly revoked and superseded. The utmost cooperation of all personnel concerned in the smooth and prompt implementation of this Order is enjoined.
