RECLASSIFICATION OF THE MUNICIPALITIES IN THE PROVINCE OF ROMBLON, AND THE INITIAL CLASSIFICATION OF THE NEWLY CREATED MUNICIPALITY OF IMELDA, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1986 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

Pursuant to Section 5 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the following municipalities in the province of Romblon are hereby reclassified effective July 1, 1986, on the basis of their average annual income actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (1982-1985), as certified by the Commission on Audit under its 3rd indorsement dated March 23, 1987, as follows: MUNICIPALITIES

However, the municipality of Concepcion maintains its present classification as Fifth Class considering the average annual income of $296,620.94 it actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (1982-1985), as certified also by the said Commission. Furthermore, the municipality of Imelda being newly-created and organized in 1984, the said municipality is hereby initially classified as Fifth Class effective July 1, 1986 on the basis of its average annual income of $219,555.56 actually realized during the last two (2) consecutive calendar years (1984-1985); as certified also by the said Commission.

The foregoing classification shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation, allowances, administrative aide, and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of the municipal officials and employees in accordance with existing law and regulations.
