17. Any other major achievement 17.1. Dept. worked on Sunday 2/8/2016 as a mark of respect to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam 17.2 An Induction Programme was organised from 9/9 to 14/9 which included an Industrial visit to UST Global in Technopark, in addition to number of lectures on “Learning to Learn” 17.3 The Ayur Informatica Research Bullettin was released by Dr S Suresh Das, EVP, KSCSTE in a function presided over by Sri Gauridasan Nair of the Hindu 17.4 The wet lab of the Dept successfully experimented with genetic modification to produce bacteria with fluorescence, by gene transfer. 17.5 An MOU for cooperation was signed with CDAC, Thiruvananthapuram 17.6 Students successfully completed Coursera MOOC courses.
