Inclusive Church and HTHQ. Many thanks to everyone who took part in the survey last year about whether Holy Trinity should sign up with the Inclusive Church web-site. There were many people who were very enthusiastic but a small but significant number who had significant concerns for various reasons. The PCC has therefore decided not to sign up to the web-site at this stage but to continue to pursue the issues by setting up a group who will look at various aspects of how we can become a more welcoming church especially to people who experience life differently. Rob Gilbert will lead on this and will feed back to the PCC and to the church over time. Key issues will be: social, educational and cultural background, mental health, gender and sexual identity, disability. This will be an important piece of work for the mission of the church.
