Dear Parents, St Joseph’s students have been invited to participate in the 2017 Sharks School Senior Primary Basketball Tournament to be held at Sutherland Basketball Stadium on Tuesday, 5 September, 2017. The competition is open to all students in Years 5 & 6. The cost of entry is $15.00 per student. Transport to and from the stadium is the responsibility of the parents. If you would like your child to go home with another parent, a note needs to be provided on or before the day of the tournament. If you are interested in coaching or managing a team please indicate below. If your child would like to participate, please complete and sign the permission note below and return by Monday, 8 August. Due to the popularity of this competition, players will be accepted by the organisers on a first in basis as we need to put our nomination in as early as possible. 31 August, 2017 Dear Parents, Teams have been finalised for the Sharks Basketball Tournament which will be held at Sutherland Basketball Stadium on Tuesday, 5 September. We are asking for assistance on these days with scoring, timekeeping and coaching. If you are able to assist, could you please indicate below and return this form as soon as possible. Students need to be at the stadium by 9.00 am and need to be picked up at approx 2.30 pm. Students will make their own way to and from the stadium, if any child needs assistance with transport please see Joan Mason. A teacher will be at the Sutherland Basketball Stadium by 8.30am. Sports Uniform is to be worn. Singlets will be given out to the students before the tournament. Students are required to bring morning tea, lunch and plenty of drinks. It is also important to note that these students are representing St Joseph’s School and we hold high expectations that they will display excellent behaviour at all times.
