In the wake of appointmentof various Committeesby the Railway Board for taking radical steps towards re-organisationand restructure of the Railways, the role of the Federationhas becomemore crucial for safeguardingthe interestsof the Nation, Railways and its Workfbrce. The affiliates are required to play vital role in providing inputs for the growth of Railways and equally careerimprovementof employees.In order to examine various aspectsand making efforts at appropriatelevel, the SCRE Sangh has constituteda Committeecalled"Inputs Committeefor RailwaysEfficiency".There are 8 membersin the Committeefor the presentwhich may be enlargedfurtherwhen felt necessary. The affiliatesalso may take actionfor constitutingCommitteeof knowledgeable and efficientrepresentatives of respectiveZonesiPUsto examineimportantaspectscollectively and submitreport.In this connection,the relatedsubjectsto be dealt with by the Committee j for providingin-putsare furnishedin the annexureto this letter. The aflliates are therefore advised to take immediate action as suggestedabove. A line in reply indicating the progress being made on the subject may be sent to the Federationat the earliest.
