COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT WORKSHEET If you’ve ever been on a mission trip, you know we put a lot of effort in researching, strategizing, planning and preparing for how to most effectively reach people for Christ. We pray, we connect, and we concentrate a significant amount of effort and resources into making our mission trip successful and productive. We want to make a difference and so we’re ALL IN even though we know it’s going to require a lot of planning and preparing, a lot of time and energy, a lot of sacrifice and even a lot of financial resources. Where you live, go to church, and work are no accident. You were placed there on purpose by the Creator of the Universe. You are in the middle of your mission field and the opportunities to minister to those who know Christ and reach those who don’t are right in front of you. And the best way we can reach people is to get involved in their lives. One of the ways we accomplish that through The M.O.M. Initiative is by making mentoring missional, but this Community Involvement Worksheet is not only limited to mentoring mommas beyond the four walls of the church. It will also help you will transcend ministry borders through living a missional life right where you are and through whatever ministry you’re involved in. Here are 7 keys to strategically developing an effective missional mentoring ministry: 1.
