OREWA COLLEGE SCHOOL ZONE

The boundary on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula crosses Vipond Road between Brian Crescent and Ellenbuy Place, and Whangaparaoa Road between Shadon Place and Dobell Place. It excludes house numbers greater than or equal to 400 Whangaparaoa Road and 139 Vipond Road. It includes Rivervale Grove, Blue Heron Rise, Brian Crescent and John Road but excludes Carento Way, Dobell Road and Gledstane Road. It continues northward along the coast to include Wenderholm Regional Park. From the northern tip of the park, it crosses to the west in a line to the Puhoi / Ahuroa Road Turnoff from State Highway 1. It does not include Hungry Creek Road. From the Puhoi / Ahuroa Road turnoff, it includes the roads south of, but not including, Moirs Hill Road, then turning south to include J Tolhoph Road. From there the boundary continues southwest to the intersection of Krippner Road and Tahekeroa Road, including Rauner Road. From the intersection of Tahekeroa Road and Krippner Road the boundary then extends west along Tahekeroa Road to the intersection of Tahekeroa and Haruru Roads where it follows down Haruru Road to its intersection with Monowai Road, including Lee Ann Road. From there it travels in a westerly direction out to include Pebble Brook Road and then south to include Drinnan Road where it turns south-eastward and custs through the junction of Forestry Road and Ireland Road. It includes only the beginning of Forestry Road, north of Ireland Road, but does not include Ireland Road. It then follows, but does not include, Ireland Road to the intersection at the west end of Blackbridge Road. It continues along the edge of Riverhead Forrest, following Blackbridge Road to State Highway 17. It includes only Escott Road, Three Oaks Road and Jean Mackay Road off Blackbridge Road. From this point the boundary runs south down State Highway 17 to the start of Bawden Road, to include Jeffs Road and Postmans Road but not including Green Road, Sunnyside or Robinson Road. It then follows Bawden Road to its intersection with Highway 1 and Coast Road, including all of Bawden Road and the roads off it. Finally, it runs in a straight line, north east, from this point to Stillwater Heads where it includes Stillwater Road and all the roads off it. It then continues up the coastline to meet the eastern boundary of the zone. Note: Both sides of all boundary roads are included in the zone, unless otherwise noted.
