COLORADO BUSINESS COMMITTEE FOR THE ARTS ELECTS SNELL & WILMER PARTNER DANIEL S. WITTENBERG TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS DENVER (December 15, 2016) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Daniel S. Wittenberg, a partner in the firm, was unanimously elected to the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) board of directors. The CBCA is a Denver-based organization that works to advance Colorado’s creative economy by connecting local businesses and the arts. The CBCA was created in 1985 with the mission to educate, motivate and recognize business support for and participation in the arts in Colorado. “It is an honor to be elected to the board,” Wittenberg said. “I look forward to contributing to the CBCA in a manner that honors and furthers the mission of the organization.” The CBCA encourages private sector support of the arts through philanthropy and active involvement, and fosters business recognition of arts as an essential element of economic development and vitality. Wittenberg will sit on the board through 2018 for a two-year term.
Daniel S. Wittenberg
Wittenberg practices in the firm’s Product Liability Litigation group, with a focus on pharmaceuticals and medical devices and is co-chair of the firm’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry Group. For nearly 25 years, he has counseled life science, pharmaceutical, medical technology and consumer product companies in formulating creative, effective and efficient solutions to problems in both the litigation and non-litigation settings. Wittenberg serves the life science and medical technology industry through his active involvement on the board of directors for the Colorado BioScience Association. In the community, Wittenberg is a member of the Boulder Economic Council, and has also participated in the Leadership Boulder County program that selects a limited number of individuals in order to develop leaders who are informed, involved and concerned about issues germane to Boulder County in Colorado. Dan graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and earned his J.D. from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver.
