In this connection,NFIR wishes to clarify that pursuantto derecognitionof Engineering Diploma/Degrees obtained through Distance Education Mode for the purpose of employment on the railways Railway Board's letter No. E(NG) IV2010/RR-1117dated 0811212011, the issue was taken up by NFIR at the level of Railway Board vide its letter No. IIl2lPt. V dated 1410512012,2010612012, 07 10712012 and under Item No. 3312012of NFIR's PNM meeting and under item No. 3 of fresh agendasent to Railway Board in June 2013 for next PNM meeting to be held at Railway Board's level.
