DIVISION MEMORANDUM No. 111 s. 2015 DIVISION CAPACITY-BUILDING FOR TEACHER-FACILITATORS AND IMPLEMENTING STAFF OF OPEN HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (OHSP) EXPANSION OIC, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Chiefs, CID and SGOD, Education Program Supervisors, Selected Secondary School Principals, Selected Secondary Guidance Counselors, OHSP Teachers

1. Pursuant to the Open High School System Act of 2014 approved by the Philippine Senate on September 8, 2014 that supports the institutionalization of the Open High School Program, the Schools Division Office (SDO), City of Dasmaririas acknowledge the program as a viable and desirable alternative modality of education delivery and an important mechanism in attaining the DepEd Education for All (EFA) goals. 2. In this connection, the Schools Division Office (SDO), decided to establish expansion of Open High School Offering in four (4) additional public secondary schools in the City of Dasmaririas. 3. This endeavor purposely aims to: a. understand the nature and management structure of the OHSP systems and mechanisms; b. capacitate teachers, guidance counselors and implementing staff of their role; c. develop OHSP plan per concerned school. d. effectively and efficiently carry-out the program. 4. To equip the teachers and the implementing staff on the effective delivery of OHSP as an alternative education delivery, a three (3)-day capacity-building/training will be conducted following the phases below: Day 1

October 1, 2015 (from 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.)

Face to Face Facilitation (F3) Sharing of Best Practices

Day 2

October 2, 2015 (School-Based)

Preparation of Outputs DORP Plan OHSP Action Plan

Day 3

October 3, 2015 (OHSP Class Visitation)
