WAGONMASTERS REPORT FOR 2012 CAMPOUTS: May 18-20 2012 WM – Henry and Sharon Laubach - J & D Campground, Catawissa, PA Location - J & D Campground 973 Southern Drive (Rt. 487) Catawissa, PA 17820 Phone: (570) 356-7700 Website: www.jdcampground.com Cost - $45.00 a night Only 5 coaches have reserved so far. Wagonmaster have 12 sites reserved. To reserve a site please send a deposit of $45.00 to the campground ASAP. Mention that you will be camping with the Chesapeake Allegros Chapter #63 when you send your deposit. Twelve sites in the same area where our club camped last May have been reserved. If you would like to camp an extra night or two please let the campground know when you send your deposit. Check in upon arrival to pay for your site's balance. You may check in after noon on the day of your arrival. The club will again have the use of the campground's pavilion. Please let us know when you make your reservation. Friday night get together will be 5:30 p.m. at pavilion. Henry and Sharon will provide pulled pork for Saturday evening dinner.

15 sites have been reserved. I now have information about our June Campout at Castaways. Castaway’s phone # is 410-213-0097 Ext 2 for Brenda. Our rate has stayed the same, $64.00 a night. Your deposit is one night's reservation. Brenda has all of us in from Thursday June 14 thru Sunday morning. That is not locked in for any of us. Come early, stay late; you pick the days and tell Brenda. If you have a new rig, tell her the length of it. If you have a site you liked last year, ask Brenda if that site is available. We choose our own sites. She will do all she can to accommodate us. Please e-mail me when you make your reservations. Pat

You can also book earlier or stay later if you want to. We chose this weekend because its Oldies Sock Hop weekend and we thought everyone would enjoy the oldies band that will be there. Reservations have been made at the Old Mill Campground in Lancaster for the October 19, 20 & 21 weekend (phone 717-299-2314). We have 14 sites reserved. You need to call the campground for reservation before 9/9/12.

November 9-11 2012 WM – Ron and Karen Meacham – Bethpage Resort – Urbanna, VA Bethpage Camp Resort 679 Brown's Lane Urbanna, VA 23175 804-758-4349 Campout 11/8 - 11/11 (have ten sites for these dates but you can go for 2 nights or more than 3 if you prefer) Sites under the name of name (Ron Meacham). Sites $43.28/night plus tax. Call and make your own reservations. We will use one of their buildings for our annual Turkey Dinner and other stuff.

November 30, December 1 & 2 2012 WM – Jack and Shirley Parker – Clarion Resort - Ocean City, MD. Will need to have at least 30 people to have the Hospitality room at no charge, so this will be a nice time to get your friends and family together for a GREAT WEEKEND.

OLD BUSINESS: By-laws have been amended and signed. Will send the by-laws to our members along with the meeting minutes.

NEW BUSINESS: Gail Weber was voted in as our newest member. Gail was given her “pig” for decoration. Welcome to our family.

GOOD OF THE CLUB: Sad to report that Ed and Ruth Calary will no longer be participated in our club or campouts due to health problems. I for one will miss them as I am sure you will. Also, Nancy and Steve Warren will no longer be with us. Nancy informed me that since she retired they were not sure what they would be doing in the future and did not want to commit to the club.

Share and Care: Al and Louise Sherard are not doing well. They had intentions of attending this campout, but just could not make it. Joann Francis also is not doing well.
