Baby/Toddler Time: Rhymes, stories, and songs for children from birth to age 2 and their caregivers. Preschool Storytime: Stories, songs, and activities with a different theme each week. All ages are welcome but this program is designed for children ages 3 to 5. *Lego Club: Come join our Lego club and have some Lego fun! Each session we’ll have a challenge and a game. We offer the program twice a month from 4:00-5:00 pm. Registration is required. Please sign up for one day only. Ages 5-12. Count the Candy Corn Contest: Come visit the library and see if you can guess how many candy corns are in the jar! All ages of children welcome. Guess right and you could win them all! Chess Club: An all ages chess club for beginners and experts. Meets every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Beginners will get a lesson on the basics of chess and experts can meet and play. Books Before Bed: A special pajama storytime. Be sure to wear your pajamas and bring a favorite stuffed animal to leave for a sleepover at the library. All ages and families are welcome but this program is designed for children ages 3-8. *Ready, Set, Read!: A program for emergent readers ages 4-7 and their caregivers. The program promotes early literacy skills through stories, games, and practice. At the end of each session children will receive a free book and parents will have learned activities to reinforce reading skills at home. Second Saturday Family Fun: A program on the second Saturday of every month this family friendly program offers an activity for families to do together. This month get ready for the season with some Silly Spider stories, snacks, and a craft! All ages welcome, but this program is designed for ages 3-7. Teen Advisory Board: This group meets monthly to help select and review new books as well as plan future teen events. For anyone ages 13-18. Please contact Youth Services at 753-1043 or [email protected] to join. *Teen Murder Mystery: Teens will follow clues around the library to try and solve a Library Murder Mystery! Join us for fun, snacks, and a spooky mystery! Ages 13-18. Call or email to sign up! *Read It! See It!: This month we will be showing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. All teens ages 13-18 are welcome to attend. Teens who would like to register for the book club piece of this program can contact Youth Services at 753-1043 or [email protected]. The first 7 registrants will receive a copy of the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. Trick or Treat at the Library!: Children in their Halloween costumes can visit the library from 5:00-7:45 p.m. and receive a special treat! Library Hours Mon. Tue. Wed. Thu. Fri. Sat.
