Mere fulfilling of minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not entitle the candidates to be shortlisted for MCQ Test/ Skill Test/ Trade Test/ Document Verification Process etc. In the event of number of eligible applications being large, CPRI reserves the right to shortlist the candidates to be called for further process as per academic merit for the posts listed from Sl. No. 2 to 5 above in the ratio/ cut off marks as determined by CPRI, which will be final and binding.

The upper age limit is the age as on the last date prescribed for registration of online application i.e. 29.01.2018.The age limit mentioned for posts at Sl. No. 1 to 5 are normal age limits and for reserved categories, upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. of India norms. The upper age limit for Departmental candidates with three years of continuous service in CPRI is 5 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed for posts cited at Sl. Nos. 1 & 2and 10 years for posts at Sl. No. 3 to 5.

Selection Procedure The selection is on the basis of their valid GATE Score (2016/2017) in the order of merit. CPRI reserves the right to fix the cutoff GATE score for ranking.
The eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for OMR based MCQ Test. The final selection will be based on Tender processing their performance in work MCQ test and academic merit. Day to day supervision for The weightage for maintenance of estate the purpose will be 50% each in respect Assisting Engineer in- of Academic Merit & charge in all the Marks scored in the activities of the MCQ test. The eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for OMR based MCQ test and skill test. The final selection will be based on their performance in the MCQ test subject to their qualifying in skill test. Based on their performance in the MCQ test and Academic merit (i.e. 50% each) candidates will be shortlisted and called for skill test i.e. Computer typing test (30 wpm). Skill test will be purely go-no-go basis. From amongst the candidates who qualify in the Computer Literacy test, empanelment shall be done based on the MCQ test and Academic merit (i.e. 50% each). Qualifying in Typing test is mandatory for Selection. The eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for OMR based MCQ test. The final selection will be based on their performance of MCQ test and academic merit prescribed for the post. The weightage for the purpose will be 50% each in respect of Academic Merit & Marks scored in the MCQ test.
