COUNCIL BILL NO. 2017 - 103 A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING PATRICIA AVERY TO THE CHAMPAIGN COUNTY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION IN THE CITY OF CHAMPAIGN WHEREAS, Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen, hereby reappoints the following individual to the Champaign Public Library Board of Trustees in the City of Champaign:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1. That this Resolution is passed and approved pursuant to legislation establishing the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, said legislation detailing the membership thereof and stating the duration of the term of office for the reappointee designated herein. Section 2. That the reappointment presented by the Mayor to the Council hereinabove in the preamble are incorporated by reference as set out herein. Section 3. That the Council hereby advises, consents, and confirms the reappointment of the individual hereinabove stated to the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission for the terms indicated. Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to send a copy of this Resolution to Patricia Avery, 201 W. Springfield Ave, Ste. 702, Champaign, IL 61820; the C.C.R.P.C.; and the Mayor’s Office.

SUBJECT: EXPLANATION OF COUNCIL BILLS NO. 2017 - 101, 2017 – 102, and 2017 - 103 Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen is nominating the following Council Members and one citizen for appointment/reappointment to the boards/commissions listed below. The appointment of a Council Member lasts until the end of that Council Member’s term of office. Visit Champaign County Board of Directors: This resolution appoints Council Member Angie Brix to the Board of Directors of Visit Champaign County (VCC) as the City of Champaign Council Representative to the Board (Sec. 2-394). Champaign Public Library Board of Trustees: This resolution appoints Council Member Greg Stock to the Champaign Public Library Board of Trustees as the City of Champaign Council Representative to the Board (Sec. 2-415). Champaign County Regional Planning Commission: This resolution reappoints Patricia Avery to the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, filling one City of Champaign Representative seat on the Board (Sec. 2-415).
