CALL FOR FAST TRACK PROPOSALS Computer Communication (COMCOM) Journal http://www.elsevier.com/locate/comcom Computer Communications (COMCOM) Journal is a professional, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality scientific articles (both theory and practice) covering all aspects of future computer-communication networks (on all layers, except the physical layer), with a special attention to the evolution of the Internet architecture, protocols, services, and applications. For details on the aims and scope of the journal, please visit the journal web site, URL: http://www.elsevier.com/locate/comcom. The Editorial Board of the Computer Communications (COMCOM) Journal invites the organizers of high-quality conference/workshop in the computer communications field to submit proposals for fast track publication in the COMCOM Journal of (extended versions of) the highest quality papers presented at their conferences/workshops. The purpose of a Fast Track is to provide a channel to guarantee fast publication of extended versions of the highest quality conference/workshop papers (typically 3 to 5, depending on the event) in the Computer Communications (COMCOM) Journal. Manuscripts submitted for the Fast Track should report on original research, must contain at least 30% of new material compared to the conference/workshop paper, and should not be under consideration for publication by any other journal. The Fast Track guest editors (usually conference/workshop program chairs) will be in charge of managing the review process of the papers submitted to the Fast Track and making recommendations on the Fast Track papers to the journal Editor-in-Chief. The papers submission and revision process of Fast Track papers will be managed through the Elsevier journals electronic system (EES). Fast Track proposals should be submitted to the journal Editor-in-Chief, Marco Conti
[email protected]. Please submit your proposal by e-mail (pdf or text format) with "COMCOM Fast Track Proposal" in the subject. Each Fast Track proposal should include: 1.
