Camelot​ ​supports​ ​Puerto​ ​Rico

Hurricane​ ​Maria​ ​hit​ ​Puerto​ ​Rico​ ​on​ ​September​ ​20,​ ​2017​ ​causing​ ​major​ ​destruction.​ ​ ​As​ ​of November​ ​13,​ ​2017,​ ​55​ ​people​ ​had​ ​been​ ​confirmed​ ​dead​ ​and​ ​several​ ​are​ ​still​ ​missing. Residents​ ​had​ ​been​ ​left​ ​without​ ​power.​ ​ ​Our​ ​students​ ​heard​ ​the​ ​cry​ ​and​ ​wanted​ ​to​ ​help.​ ​ ​They sold​ ​t-shirts​ ​to​ ​raise​ ​money​ ​and​ ​collected​ ​can​ ​goods​ ​in​ ​an​ ​effort​ ​to​ ​help​ ​those​ ​in​ ​need​ ​in​ ​Puerto Rico.

​ ​ ​Military​ ​ ​Career​ ​Awareness​ ​October​ ​13,​ ​2017 

Ssgt.​ ​Kaitlyn​ ​Coulter​ ​(USAF)​ ​and​ ​Lt.​ ​Alicyn​ ​Buttry​ ​(Army)​ ​educated  the​ ​students​ ​on​ ​military​ ​life.​ ​ ​Lt.​ ​Buttry​ ​and​ ​Ssgt.​ ​Coulter​ ​are​ ​sisters  and​ ​the​ ​daughters​ ​of​ ​Ms.​ ​McDowell.​ ​ ​They​ ​came​ ​to​ ​speak​ ​to​ ​the  students​ ​about​ ​military​ ​careers.​ ​ ​They​ ​also​ ​had​ ​a​ ​physical​ ​training  competition​ ​for​ ​the​ ​students​ ​with​ ​prizes.

Mr.​ ​Kass​ ​took​ ​the​ ​students​ ​back​ ​in​ ​time​ ​and​ ​demonstrated​ ​how​ ​to​ ​use​ ​an​ ​apple​ ​press.
