All, The Purchasing Oﬃce wanted to let you know about something that is now available within the Tyler Munis Requisi㐃㌃on Entry (REQ) module. We will start adding contract informa㐃㌃on directly into the Munis system by vendor that will include all the per㐃㌃nent contract informa㐃㌃on necessary for speciﬁc items, such as the item descrip㐃㌃on, the unit of measure, price, and commodity code. The ﬁrst two contracts will be for Bo䠃䜃led Water and Mul㐃㌃func㐃㌃onal Devices (MFDs / Copiers). We will be tes㐃㌃ng this change in the training environment and hope to provide a Webex link on the step‐by‐step process showing the actual screens within Munis. A couple of new items within the general screen have been added to support this new feature and will be highlighted in the training. Un㐃㌃l we provide the above, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER IN ANY REQUISITIONS FOR THESE TWO CONTRACTS UNTIL GIVEN NOTICE TO DO SO. If you have already entered one and it has not been released, please delete the req. If it is already in workﬂow, we will have to reject it on the Purchasing side. Some campuses may use the Student Activity module (SAA) to issue purchase orders for the Bottled Water contract. The functionality mentioned above is not available in this module. The Purchasing Office will provide further details on the information necessary for you to issue these POs.
