BOARD BUDGET REVIEW MEETING March 20, 2017 The Board of Directors of Regional School Unit #71 met in session for a Budget Review Meeting on Monday evening, March 20, 2017, at the Belfast Area High School. I.

The meeting was called to order by Chairperson David Crabiel at 5:35 p.m. with the following directors present: F. Black, D. Crabiel, E. deFrees, C. Grey, A. Goscinski, L. Newsom, J. Scott, J. Woods. Also attending were Belfast Area High School Student Board Representatives Zachary Sheafe and Kristina Walker. Also present were the following administrators: RSU #71 Superintendent Dr. P. Knowles, C. Hodgdon, B. Bailey, D. Gilman, T. Kenniston, M.A. McLean, and L. Miller. Also present were the following: M. Andrews, T. Ballard, J. Banks, B. Davis, T. Doran, B. French, D. Leighton, P. Lynam, H. O’Donnell, S. Olson, M. Paradis, D. Porter, J. Richards, P. Saunders, Z. Smith, D. Sullivan, S. Verney, K. Bowles, S. Hopkins, and B. McCullough III.

Upon motion of J. Scott, seconded by J. Woods, the directors voted unanimously to approve the request from Angela Hurd, English Teacher at Belfast Area High School, to continue her half-time employment status for the 2017-2018 school year.

Upon motion of L. Newsom, seconded by F. Black, the directors unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 6:37 p.m. Respectfully submitted,
