A letter from Knipp Services was shared regarding their future involvement in a bond project because of how the scope of the project has evolved. Dr. Diepenbrock shared information on a Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) model for a potential bond project and the process the district needs to follow to use a CMAR. He also explained to the board about the new Bond Cap legislation that limits the amount of new bond issue dollars that can be passed in any given year. There are more rooftop units failing at Norwich but there is available capacity in the new VRF unit to add classroom cassettes for both heating and air conditioning but we are still trying to get competitive pricing for this repair.
