INTRODUCTION BIHAR ANJUMAN The foundation for Bihar Anjuman was laid on 11th March 1999,with some people joining hands to help those who may be in need of financial help, or in need of job. The driving motto was to urge the people to join hands together and pool their resources for maximizing the benefits to the society in general and to the Bihari and Jharkhand society in particular. This Group was formed with an intention to take the movement beyond the borders of one country, to bring in its fold people who feel like belonging to the family of Muslim brothers and sisters from Bihar and Jharkhand, living anywhere in the world. The successful model of one place could thus be implemented anywhere on the globe where some of these family members lived. ''"In its current form, Bihar Anjuman is not an organization, but simply a network of individuals and organizations whose hearts beat for Bihar and fellow Muslims worldwide.''" Al-Jubail Local Chapters Objective (at country or city levels) To meet regularly to devise means leading to achieve the goals, review the working of the Anjuman and to present members' views and demands/ requirements. To provide moral, material and physical help to members in case of Any accident, Serious illness leading to hospitalization, Financial crisis, Death To provide physical, moral and financial support to non-member NRI Muslims hailing from Bihar and Jharkhand in times of crisis, e.g., to stranded new-comers. To provide guidance, feedback and assistance to all new entrants from Bihar seeking placement in the concerned country. The above is to be achieved in a transparent manner by respecting the views of most of the members through a modus operandi agreed by the group.
