COMMANDMENTS TO CHILDREN Prov. 6:20,21 My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. Mark 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. Matt. 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Exod. 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Prov. 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. BLESSING FROM GOD I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Prov. 10:29 The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. Psa. 81:10 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. VI. PRAYER John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Rom. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. Psa. 34:4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
VII. HOLY SPIRIT Matt. 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. John 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; I Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
