Dear Year 5 & 6 Parents and Carers, Year 5 & 6 will study the Victorians this term. As part of this exciting topic we would like to take year 5 & 6 to Beamish and take part in a ‘mystery activity’ on Tuesday 20th October. The coach will leave school at 9:15 am and will return by 3.30 p.m. The cost for this visit is £12.00 (Breakdown of costs £4.75 for transport and £7.25 for admission into beamish including the mystery workshop). The children do not need to wear school uniform but please ensure they are dressed for the weather, as Beamish is an open air museum we will be outside most of the day. Your child should bring a packed lunch with them - no glass bottles, fizzy drinks or sweets please. If your child is currently on Free School Meals and would like a school packed lunch please pre-order on the reply slip below. Without this reply slip the school kitchen cannot make your child a packed lunch. School packed lunches consist of a sandwich (ham, tuna, cheese or egg), quavers, cake/biscuit, piece of fruit and bottle of water. We would appreciate any parent helpers on the day.
