Important Announcement! The Board of the Village Square is contemplating the building of a sports court that would allow us to offer programs of: pickle ball, basketball, volleyball and badminton. Go to Google and check out pickle ball, the fastest growing game in the country. These programs could be available to people of all ages and ability and could include training, practice time, league play, tournaments, and self-organized friendly games. We have a proposal from Fowler Construction to build the facility and donate directly, as well as from their suppliers, certain of the material and equipment required. We think this is a good and affordable idea, but without the interest and support of the community, the facility will not be used enough to justify the cost. Would you help us? Here's how: A meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 7:00 p.m. to present details of our plan, provide a question and answer period, and take a vote for or against this proposal. If you support it, we will proceed. If you vote against it, we will not proceed with the plan.
It is important to the community that you talk to your family and friends, attend the meeting, express your views, and vote. Please come!!
