Sub:- RVM(SSA)- Conducting of verification of accounts of oPOs, MRCs, SMCs in the State by the State Accounts Teams regarding huge balances lying in bank accounts of the sub-district units - Regarding. ****

All the Project Officers of Rajiv Vidya Mission in the state are informed that huge balances are appearing in SMCs as per the CPSMS data. During the review meeting

held on 01-04-2013/

the

Hon/ble Minister

observed that huge funds released to Sub-District Units from SPO/DPO are

lying unspent and instructed to depute Accounts teams by the State Finance Controller to the districts to see that the balances available in SMCs are utilized for the purpose for which they were released. The Project Officers of Rajiv Vidya Mission in the State are, therefore, requested to instruct the M.E.Os/H.Ms to update the financial records of MRCc & SMCs and co-ordinate with State Accounts Team during the verification of records.

The Project Officers are also requested to make necessary logistic arrangements for touring the sub-district units in the respective districts allotted to the State Accounts Teams,. The detailed tour programme of the State Accounts Teams is herewith.
