FINANCE: - 2016 FOS Goal: $28,000, District total is $21,895 (Attach 2) -- Family Goal is $22,500, currently at $9,520 -- Community Goal is $3,000, currently at $8,814 -- District Leadership Goal is $2,500, currently at $3,560 - 2017 FOS Goal: $30,800 -- Family Goal will be $23,800 -- Community Goal will be $3,500 -- District Leadership Goal will be $3,500 MEMBERSHIP: Aaron Starks - Membership as of 12/12/2016: 970 - Membership at the same point in 2015: 936 -District Totals Report (Attach 3) and Objectives Progress Report (Attach 4) - Membership goal for 2016 was: 956 youth registered, with Cubs growth of at least 1.5%. --Cub growth with Lions is 11.3%. Cub growth without Lions is 1.49%. Community Service: - 2.86 hours per Scout. Goal is 5.83. - All units should be reporting service hours. - Please contact John Cuenin if you UNIT SERVICE: Louis Del Prete - Unit Commissioners will be meeting via GoToMeeting at a time TBD before Christmas. - Units should voice their needs to their Unit Commissioners. - Looking for new Tokyo Zone and Yokota Zone Commissioners.

LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE: Doug Hymas Training (John Harris): - District at 37.0 % trained in All Positions (Attach 6). - 34.4% of Direct Contact Leaders are currently trained. - Please let the District Leadership know what kinds of training interest your local units. - Trainings can take place on unit level, and trained individuals are welcome to facilitate. Youth Protection Champion (Bonnie Dixon): - District at 100% Trained (Attach 7). - Goal for 2016 is 100% Youth Protection Trained. - Check Aging Reports for your unit on my.scouting.org and have individuals make sure their myscouting.scouting.org accounts are connected to their Member IDs. Nominating Committee: - Open positions include Finance Chair, Community Service Chair, District Vice Chair, Friends of Scouting Chair, Venturing Chair, Cub Scout Program Chair, Boy Scout Program Chair, and Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner 6. District Calendar/Events - Friends of Scouting Campaign begins: January 1, 2017 - Camp Zama Merit Badge Day, Camp Zama: January 21, 2017 + Jeremy Rands is coordinating the event. Deadlines for gate lists will be published soon. - Klondike Derby, SAJ Yamanakako: 10 12 February, 2017 + Frank Striegl has signed on to be the program lead for the event. Units will be asked to help support the activities. Theme is TBD. - IOLS and BALOO, Tama Hills: 17 18 March, 2017 + John Harris will be coordinating the event. Other staff are needed for the weekend. 7. Order of the Arrow: Kim McCann - 2017 Unit Elections will be held between January 1 and March 31, 2017 + Troops should schedule their unit elections through the Chapter leadership 8.
