How We Love Seminar ~ for the Healing Relational Blindspots seminar will be taking place here at our church July 28-29. Please share with your friends and any others who might be interested. Contact Pastor Burgess for registration.
Today ~ Everyone is invited to our Church Family Fellowship Meal following the service across the parking lot, at the gym. Today is dedicated to Getting Acquainted with our New Members and if there is interest, we will take a hike to the Ocoee area after lunch.
LCA Annual Work Bee and Pancake Breakfast ~ will be Sunday, July 30 beginning at 8 am. We need your help to get our school ready for the new school year. Please plan to come out and have breakfast and then help to get the school in tip top shape. Older children are encouraged to come and help. Childcare will not be available for younger children. Prison Ministry ~ please find addresses on the Bulletin Board for fellow members in prison and encourage them by sending cards. Would you like to share your faith with those who are willing to listen? Addiction Support Recovery Training ~ is being made available on Aug. 12 at the Cumberland Heights SDA Church in Coalmont, TN. Addiction has become an epidemic and Christians have the opportunity to be helpful. Pastor Burgess hopes to attend this event, if you would like to attend and carpool, please let him know. Adventurer Volunteers Needed ~ Do you love Jesus? Children? Our Apison Church? Our Adventurer Club is looking for volunteers to help this coming year run smoothly. LCA Work Bee Repair Day ~ tomorrow, July 16, 8 am to noon, we would appreciate those of you who have experience as: plumbers, carpenters, carpet installers, etc. to come out to help with some updates at the school.
THANK YOU ~ to those who have been donating books for the Hamilton County Jail Library. Nearly 1000 books have been received so far and the inmates have been checking them out regularly. Pray for God's continued blessing on this project that seeds will be planted and produce a harvest of souls for His kingdom.
Kids in Stitches ~ meets Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 9 - 1 at the church. Acts of the Apostles Study ~ ongoing study continues on Fridays at 6:30 pm at the church. Please read chapter 5 ahead of time if possible. Everyone is invited to this awesome study. Be reminded, there will be no childcare.
