Introduction The Pin-configuration of Arduino Shield is same as arduino uno, but it has more number of digital pins and analog pins compared to arduino. This is flagship board for beginners and advanced users by Elint Labz. With this Shield it makes easy for interfacing sensors or any other devices to the arduino.

Details It is Arduino compatible board based on Arduino UNO with four pin form factor. The Shield has 14 digital I/O pins named as 0 to 13 (which include 6 PWM pins(3,5,6,9,10 & 11), UART pins and SPI pins), 6 analog input pins named as A0 to A5, DC power port and a power indicator LED. The Arduino Shield also has a slide switch used to connect or disconnect the input power supply to the board.

All the GPIO pins of the Arduino UNO are arranged in the 4 pin port format. This allows the user to interface all the Elint Labz plugs (sensors and actuators) efficiently by making use of 4-4A, 4-3A and 3-3A cables. Each port has 4 pins namely G stands for GND , V stands for VCC , and two data pins of the Arduino. It also has an onboard power indicator LED. Typically 5V DC source must be connected to the DC power port in order to power up the board.

It has a ground and vcc rails for prototyping applications.
It has a serial port having Ground , Vcc , Tx and Rx pins. This port is used to communicate with the external device serially. Page 5 of 8

It has a SPI port having six pins namely Gnd, Vcc, SCK, MISO, MOSI and SS. This port is used to communicate with the external device using SPI protocol. In the below given picture you can observe the ATmega328p pins supporting the SPI bus protocol.
It has an I2C (Two Wire Interface) port having four pins namely Gnd, Vcc, SCL and SDA. This port is used to communicate with the external device using I2C protocol. All the GPIO pins of the Arduino UNO are arranged in the 4 pin port format. This allows the user to interface all the Elintlabz’s plugs (sensors and actuators) efficiently by making use of 4-4A, 4-3A and 3-3A cables. Each port has 4 pins namely G stands for GND , V stands for VCC , and two data pins of the microcontroller.

How to interface? We can upload the code through the USB port of Arduino UNO, we have to make use of the USB cable to upload the codes into the chip using Arduino IDE. Note: while uploading the code to the Arduino UNO board we have to select the ‘Arduino UNO’ as a target board. We can use any of the supporting cables to interface the sensor or actuator plugs by Elint Labz. The below picture shows how to connect the 4-4A , 4-3A and 3-3A cables to the pluguino board respectively. While connecting any cable always make sure that the black wire of the cable connects to the ground pin of the port.
As Shown in the above figure always make sure that black wire of 4-3A cable must go to the ground pin of the Arduino Shield. Here, other end is connected to the ground pin of LED plug.
