Please note that before any volunteer is allowed to participate in any activity on the property they must have a parent/guardian sign the liability agreement as set out by the insurance provider to Beaver Creek Ranch. Volunteers must take part in a safety orientation. Inexperienced volunteers may never be left alone with the horses. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older and have 2 years experience in order to give any instruction to a rider. If volunteers wish to mount a horse, they must be experienced and must wear a helmet, riding boots and clothing. Volunteers must be willing to be assessed before they are allowed to handle horses. Volunteers over the age of 18 must be willing to provide a clear criminal reference check.
