Requirements:

A valid Ohio career technical license in Diversified Health Occupations, Practical Nursing, Nurse Assistant, or PN Coordinator. Two years of long-term care experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Work experience in nursing. Effective organizational, planning, and project management skills. Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement program options, auxiliary services, and curricular materials that support the diverse learning needs of students. Experience in working with career technical student organizations. Must be able to communicate well and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

Using the most recent state standards, provide classroom and laboratory instruction to prepare students for employment or further education in the health field. Evaluate student performance and work cooperatively with parents, business/ industry, and school personnel. Serve as HOSA advisor.
