The eligibility criteria as on 30.11.2016: (a) Technical Qualification Holding current DGCA (India) Approval as Flight Despatcher on Jet Aircraft. Candidates possessing current COP/RTR and/or experience will be given preference. (b) Educational Qualification 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as required by DGCA for Flight Despatcher (Preference will be given to BE, Science Graduate, MBA from a recognized University/Institute) (c) Age Maximum age 35 years for General candidate, 40 years for SC/ST & 38 years for OBC candidates. (d) Posting On appointment candidates may be positioned/transferred at any station/base on AI network based on operational requirements at the sole discretion of the Management. (e) Emoluments & other benefits The gross emoluments would be approximately Rs.67,000/- (including Company’s Contribution to Provident Fund as per rules of the Company) and in addition, the incumbents would also be eligible for benefits of Gratuity, Medical benefits, Pension and Free/Concessional for Air Passages as per Company Rules. (f) Training The selected incumbents would be required to undergo requisite Company Orientation Training followed by DGCA approval for Air India. HOW TO APPLY : i)
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria as on 30.11.2016, are required to WALK-IN with the duly filled Application Form (available on the Company web-site www.airindia.in) along with all original Certificates/Testimonials in support of Date of Birth, Technical Qualification, Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC Candidates) and 2 recent passport size photographs. Candidates would also be required to furnish self attested copies of all the certificates/ testimonials as mentioned above along with the application form. Please note that No original certificate is to be submitted with the Application Form. Although, Candidates are required to bring all Original Certificates for verification purpose only. ii) Candidates belonging to OBC category, the category certificate should be in the prescribed format including the “Non-Creamy layer clause” issued by the Competent Authority for employment under Government of India and should be as per the Central list of OBC’s published by the Govt of India. Please also note that the validity of the “NonCreamy layer should not be older than 6 (six) months from the date of the eligibility i.e. 30.11.2016. iii) Candidates are also required to bring an A/c Payee Demand Draft for an amount of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only)in favour of “Air India Ltd.”, payable at DELHI, as non- refundable Application Fee (Not applicable for SC/ST). GENERAL CONDITIONS: i) The short listed candidates will be considered for appointment as Deputy Manager – Flight Dispatch at any Station on AI network based on operational requirements at the sole discretion of the Management. ii) Selected Candidates will have to bear the cost of the Pre-Employment Medical Examination(s). iii) Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be entitled for reimbursement of second class to & fro rail / bus fare by the shortest route as per rules, subject to submission of a request in the prescribed format and on production of evidence/ ticket to that effect. iv) The applicants must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria, as on 30.11.2016, and that the particulars furnished by them in the application are correct in all respects.
