Muscle and Breathing Relaxation Decreasing the physiological reaction to stress helps regain control of the body and mind Nonjudgmental Awareness Labeling emotions without judgment reduces the intensity of emotions and encourages exploration instead of avoidance of them Acceptance and Tolerance Understanding that emotions provide important information and that painful emotions can be tolerated reduces unhelpful actions people often take to avoid emotions Compassionate Self-Support Actively seeking fulfillment in life and giving self-encouragement in times of distress provides the necessary support to manage difficult emotions Analyzing Emotions An active, step-by-step process for understanding what is causing a particular emotion Modifying Emotions Uses information gained from the analysis process to brainstorm ways to modify an emotion Personalized Training – Limited to 6 participants! 8 weekly training sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:45pm Starts Wednesday September 24th, 2014 & Ends Wednesday November 12th, 2014 Location: 2302 Martin, Suite #420, Irvine, CA 92612 Total fee for 18 hours of training - $325 Included at no additional charge: 
