Muscle and Breathing Relaxation Decreasing the physiological reaction to stress helps regain control of the body and mind Nonjudgmental Awareness Labeling emotions without judgment reduces the intensity of emotions and encourages exploration instead of avoidance of them Acceptance and Tolerance Understanding that emotions provide important information and that painful emotions can be tolerated reduces unhelpful actions people often take to avoid emotions Compassionate Self-Support Actively seeking fulfillment in life and giving self-encouragement in times of distress provides the necessary support to manage difficult emotions Analyzing Emotions An active, step-by-step process for understanding what is causing a particular emotion Modifying Emotions Uses information gained from the analysis process to brainstorm ways to modify an emotion Personalized Training – Limited to 6 participants! 8 weekly training sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:45pm Starts Wednesday September 24th, 2014 & Ends Wednesday November 12th, 2014 Location: 2302 Martin, Suite #420, Irvine, CA 92612 Total fee for 18 hours of training - $325 Included at no additional charge:
