How do I request a Mass Intention? Mass Envelopes are at the back of church or sacristy to fill in the details or make your own with the name, family or event you’d like to offer a Mass for + if you have a special date in mind (or as near to) and if the person is alive (Int) or deceased (RIP) + a contact. The Dioceses recommended offering (parish donation) is £10 a Mass or whatever is affordable.
Information about the Sacraments
On weekdays & Saturday morning, Mass is celebrated in the Blessed Cyprian Tansi Oratory in the Presbytery & you can request Confession before (Saturday is in the church if you prefer anonymity). Preparation courses for baptism & reception are throughout the year & Reconciliation + Holy Communion begins after Christmas. The Bishop celebrates Confirmation in our parish every other year & Marriage preparation is with each couple.
which will give us the opportunity to reflect on the theology and spirituality of safeguarding and to express our thanks to Pat Ballard, our parish’s Safeguarding Representative for her hard work on behalf of all of us. Please read the Newsletter insert to find out more.
