Lower School Tuition Contract for 2017-2018 As a parent/guardian of the student(s) listed below, I am responsible for the following: CAUTION: READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE SIGNING: I am responsible for paying Glenwood School or SMART (on behalf of Glenwood School) the entire tuition amount including any and all applicable fees. I am obligated to pay this entire amount even in the event of expulsion of my child/children. If I should withdraw my child/children during the school year for any reason I do understand that I will be responsible for the tuition for the remainder of the school year along with the fees. I acknowledge that I must pay in full by cash or certified funds on the withdrawal date. The only reason for which I will be relieved from the obligation from the date of withdrawal is in the case I relocate my family more than 50 miles away from Glenwood School. Parents may be released from their contract prior to July 7, 2017, with written documentation that the student will not be attending. Monthly tuition payments are due to Smart on the 10th day of each month and past due on the 20th day of each month. Any payments received after the 19th day of the month will incur a $65.00 late fee. If the account continues in arrears on the 30 th of the month, additional late fees will be assessed for each period. When tuition is 40 days in arrears, the student may be denied all educational services as well as forfeit the privilege of participating in any and all school activities until the account is paid current. When tuition is 60 days in arrears, the account may be turned over to a collection agency, and the student will not be allowed to continue to attend until the account is made current. Days missed by part-time students are not allowed to be made up unless there is a school holiday or unforeseen school closure. After School Care: All students not picked up by 3:20 will be sent to after school care. Parents have an option of paying a $15.00 daily rate or $80.00 monthly rate for children that are picked up by 4:30 or $150.00 monthly rate for children picked up after 4:30. A bill will be sent from the school each month or you can request that the set rate be added to your Smart Tuition account to be bill monthly in addition to your tuition. All payments are due on the 10 th and late by the 20th. Smart will assess a $65.00 late fee to all past due payments on the 20th of each month. All students must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. from after school care. If for any reason the child is not picked up by 6:00 p.m., there will be an additional charge of $5.00 per 5 minutes. No student will be allowed to leave after school care without an authorized adult signing the child out each day. All students must adhere to the same behavioral guidelines in after school care as expected in normal school hours. Failure to do so may result in termination of after school care privileges. All tuition and fees for underclassmen must be paid in full by May 12, 2018. Educational records will not be released and the student will not be promoted to the next grade if tuition and fees are not paid in full.
