2D and 3D Architectural Designer

The primary goal of this course is to focus on one of the most exciting areas of CAD - the creation of two dimensional and three dimensional drawings. This course is designed to meet the needs of a new generation who have interest in architecture and other 2D and 3D design fields and who want to work in the industry as good professionals. The course begins with creation of simple 2d drawings, and evolves into complex creation of solid models and animations in 3D by the help of Auto-Cad and 3D Max.

Auto-Cad (2D and 3D)

With auto-cad, participants will learn to do 2D drafting, architectural drawings and 3D modeling of architectural and mechanical objects like buildings, machine parts, products and furniture models. To achieve all these objectives following 2D and 3D skills will be taught.

3D in Auto-Cad

Creating 3D objects is very interesting and this area is divided in 8 parts so that students may have easy and clear understanding. We will start with Basic 3D Concepts and learn following things with deep details: Part 1 - Basic 3D Concepts Part 2 - Working with 3D Coordinates Part 3 - Creating Surfaced Objects Part 4 - Solid Modeling Concepts Part 5 - Composite Solid Models Part 6 - Working with Solid Models Part 7 - Advanced 3D Concepts Part 8 - Plotting 3D Models.

3D Studio Max

We will start 3D max from very basic stage and learn the following parameters: • Understand the mechanics of 3ds Max • Be able to create 3d models using a variety of techniques • Work with materials to texture your models • Understand how to light a scene • Understand the complete features of camera • Be able to create animations and stage a scene • Learn how to use the V-Ray render engine. The course shall follow a highly practical approach, whereby students shall be creating their first models directly within the first lesson. Course shall follow the standard 3D creation process, which can be broken down into the modeling, animating, material and lighting phases. We shall also be addressing specific issues related to mental ray rendering, an advanced rendering engine like V-ray, which is included with 3DS Max and offers realistic renders whilst being user friendly. Basics of modeling shall then be developed further through more detailed examples




