Our Whole School Attendance Target is 96.0%. At the end of each term, there will be a prize for the class with the best attendance. The Class winners for this week are:

Class 11 with 100%. Well Done! Followed by Classes 3 & 5 – 99.0%, Class 7 – 97.8%, Class 9 – 97.0%, Class 2 – 96.7% Class 1 – 95.7%, Class 10– 94.8%, Class 8 – 91.8%, Class 6 – 91.1%

VALUE OF THE MONTH : “HONESTY”

“Appletree Voice Parents Forum” – Monday 8th May at 9.00am We welcome any new members to the Forum. If you wish to come along please see Mrs Burrell or come to the Main Entrance. Hope to see you there. Refreshments will be provided.

School will be used as a Polling Station on Thursday 4th May (Local Elections) and again on June 8th (General Election). We are open as usual on both days.

A huge “well done” to Eva Vest in Class 4 who was very brave and had 13 inches of her hair cut off and donated it to the Little Princess Trust!!

Year 4 Powburn Meeting

There is a meeting for all parents/carers of Year 4 children going on our Powburn residential trip, in school on Tuesday 2nd May at 3.30pm.

Don’t forget, all KS2 children can still order “Grab Bags” for lunch. The Grab Bags contain a sandwich of choice (Tuna/Cheese/Egg), a cake or biscuit, crisps, a piece of fruit and a bottle of water. Grab Bags can be ordered each morning before school at the Kitchen (please come through the Dining Hall, the doors will be open). Names will be put on each Grab Bag for collection at lunchtime.

Please note that JoJo Bows are not part of school uniform and should not be worn to school. Thank you. Lingotot French sessions commence on Monday 8th May. Sessions will run on Mondays straight after School for ten weeks. Payment is £37.50 for the 10-week course.
