Our family night is Tuesday, Feb. 20th from 6:30 to 7:30. Mark your calendars and come and join in the fun. MPS Foundation and Longfellow Title 1 funded this project. Students who do not eat breakfast at school or are not enrolled in CLC should wait with their parents or outside. Students eating breakfast at school should arrive between 8:10 - 8:25 and use door #5. Thank you for pulling all the way down in the unloading zone when dropping off students in the morning. This makes a big difference with the flow of traffic.
Why is good attendance and punctuality important? Education lays the vital foundations of a child’s life. Regular and punctual attendance at school is key to both academic and social development. Our goal is to ensure students are in class on time 95% of the school year. If students fall below 90% attendance rate, they become part of the Minot Public Schools Stay in School Project. What does 90% attendance mean? * 90% attendance rate for the school year = 1⁄2 school day missed every week! * One school year at 90% attendance rate = 3 1⁄2 weeks of learning missed!
