SAT Math Review Saturdays, June 3-July 8, Courtyard Center, 4800 Preston Park Boulevard in Plano OR Wednesdays, June 21-July 26, Collin Higher Education Center, 3452 Spur 399 in McKinney The redesigned SAT Math components feature problems with applications in science, social science, career scenarios and other real-life contexts. Crime Scene Investigation Camp Monday-Thursday, June 19-22, Preston Ridge Campus, Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco Participants will be introduced to the forensic science behind crime scene investigation. Sessions cover topics including fingerprints, blood evidence, DNA, shoe and tire impressions, search procedures, interviewing and many others. Crime Scene/Mystery Sessions will be devoted to sample crime scenes where students will collect evidence and solve the mock crimes. Each session and sample scene is age appropriate and challenging. Cyber Security Camp Tuesday-Thursday, June 20-22, Spring Creek Campus, Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano If you are a 7th – 10th grade student who wants to learn how to defend against malicious attacks, then this camp is for you. In this Cyber Security Camp you will learn how computer systems work, how unsecure computer systems are breached and what you can do to protect computer systems from attackers. Texas All-Star Jazz Camp Monday-Friday, July 17-21 (registration/auditions July 16), Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano The Texas All-Star Jazz Camp features a flurry of daily workshops and rehearsals as musicians learn the world of big band jazz. Camp faculty includes top jazz musicians from around the country, who have played with big names such as Maynard Ferguson, Doc Severinsen, the Metroplexity Big Band and Woody Herman. The TASJC welcomes, eleven-time Grammy winner and saxophonist Chris Vadala. Students must be at least 13 years old with at least one year of study on their instrument.
