March News We still have openings for next fall and will be happy to give your friends a tour any morning. Some of you have told me you are coming back, but not turned in your forms yet. Now is the time before specific classes fill up! A couple of classes are full already. If you refer friends and they sign up, you will be credited for half of your Registration Fee even though you’ve already sent it in. Thanks for your support! I want to thank everyone for pulling together and helping us have a smooth Kids Closet ! Bettina and I had so much fun working with all of our parents and what a great result! We cleared around $6000.00 to supplement our preschool budget. Thank you so much for all of your efforts! Summer Camp enrollment forms went home last week. We may need a few summer camp counselors. If you are working, you will receive a small salary and your children come to camp at 50% off. Three and four year old classes will have I Heart Art on March 8th. We can’t wait to see what Miss Erin has planned. We will be closed for 2 Fridays due to Gwinnett County school holidays: March 10th and March 31st. March 31st is the Friday before Spring Break. Spring Break March 31 to April 7. On March 16th we are very excited to have our spring concert. This year we will be welcoming Jennifer Daniels with the Learning Groove. We saw her perform this summer at a teacher training conference and agreed the children would love her show. We don’t know of any other preschools that have such high quality programming for their children, but we know the children are benefiting! We are having School Pictures again on March 29th and 30th. Class pictures are taken in the spring. You won’t purchase individual pictures until you view the proofs. Class pictures are included in your Activity Fees.

On March 13th Maya Reese, a former WCUMCP student is coming in for a little St. Patrick’s Day performance. She has been taking Irish dance for several years and has gone to many competitions. Maya is also studying Irish Harp and will play for the children. We are very excited to see her.

For long range planning, I would like to remind you that:  Our Graduation/Closing Program is scheduled for Thursday, May 18th at 11:00 a.m. Please remember our policy about illnesses: if a child has had rash, fever, diarrhea or vomiting, or is generally not well due to a bad cold or cough, please do not bring them to school until their symptoms have been gone for at least 24 hours. We are being very careful to disinfect and clean, but you often don’t know your child is sick until they have already come and exposed everyone, so please err on the side of caution.
