d.2. Display and Safety Regulations The project display using sets of any paper or board summarizes the research project and must focus on the proponent’s work for this year’s study. Tarpaulin will not be used for the display in support of the environmental advocacy of the government in reducing the consumption of nonbiodegradable or non-recyclable materials . The physical set-up must be attractive and informative. Interested spectators and judges should easily asses the study and the results obtained. Use clear and concise displays. Make headings stand-out, draw graphs and diagrams clearly and label them correctly. A one-page project abstract must be posted in one corner of the booth. Be sure to adhere to the size limitations and safety rules when preparing the display. The following items should be seen in the project display : Abstract , Background , Objectives, Significance , Methodology , Results , Discussion , Conclusion , Recommendations , Bibliography and if applicable , Photo Credits ( including illustrations and graphics ). Note that a proponent should not include his/her face in the project’s procedure/illustration in the display.
d.3. The composition for Team Category shall be a maximum of three members only. d.4. Ethics Statement Scientific fraud and misconduct is not condoned at any level of research or competition. Plagiarism , use or presentation of other research’s work as one’s own and fabrication of data will not be tolerated . Fraudulent projects are disqualified for the competition.
d.5. Contents
Apply/demonstrate specific principles or attempt to provide new knowledge; Be a result of continuing or parallel scientific research and investigation and not a copy of any previous research; Have socio-economic significance and relevance to livelihood development; and Contribute to the advancement of S&T and the development of the community.
d.5. Physical Set-Up / Visual Display The maximum size of project display must be: 76 cm (30 inches) deep 122 cm (48 inches) wide 183 cm (40 inches) high excluding table
