Steps:

1. Let N = the decimal.

2. Look at how many digits are  repeating, and multiply both  sides by 10, 100, 1000, etc.

3. Subtract N from the left side  and N's value from the right.

4. Divide by N's coefficient (9,  99, 999, etc.)

5. Simplify the fraction if  needed. (Check multiples of 3!)
