2017 Show-Me Showdown Volleyball Tournament West Plains Civic Center September 9, 2017 Tournament Information Pool Play Warm-up: Each team’s first game will have full warm-up on their court. Warm-up for all other games will be 5 minutes: 2 minutes hitting each and 1 minute shared serving.  The coin-toss will take place immediately following the previous match and the appropriate warm-up will follow.  All pool play games will be two games to 25 starting at 4 points. There will be no point cap.  Please be ready to play at your appointed time to keep the tournament on schedule. All games will run ahead of schedule, if possible!!!\ Pool 1 (Court 1) 1. Bracket Play The top two teams in each pool will enter the Championship Gold Division bracket. The bottom two teams in each pool will enter the Silver Division. Teams will be seeded into bracket play using the bracket placement formula below and will begin no later than 20 minutes after pool play is completed. All bracket play matches will be best 2 out of 3 games to 25, no point cap, and will be single elimination with a 3rd place game in the Gold bracket only. Pool with 3 teams will play 2 out of 3. Top 2 will go to gold bottom team will go to silver. There also will be a small lunch break between pool play and bracket play for the refs. Bracket Placement Formula: 1. Win/Loss record; 2. Point differential; 3. Head-to-head; 4. Flip a coin .

Miscellaneous  Each team should provide one line judge for each game they participate in. Adults are preferred.  Balls will not be provided – please bring your own.  There will be no available locker rooms.  Food - Please communicate to all players and parents that in order to use the West Plains Civic Center facilities, we must abide by the following policy: “No person shall bring, carry in or in any other manner transport on the premises, food or beverage of any kind.”  There will be a concession stand available.  There will be a hospitality room available to all coaches, athletic directors, administrators, and bus drivers. No athletes, scorekeepers, statisticians, or parents are allowed.  An EMT/trainer will be available throughout the day.  Admission is $5.00.  Please email or fax me a roster of your team no later than Tuesday September 6.
