This is a ested by the community service work that she has done throughout her high school career. Brianna has accumulated over 600 hours during this me period, while maintaining ac ve membership in various clubs and organiza ons. Junior year Brianna was the class of 2016 secretary and this year she is the class vice‐president. Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Michael is a three sport athlete at Colebrook Academy, and is involved in several clubs and organiza ons. As an athlete Michael has par cipated in baseball, basketball, and soccer. He is a member of Key Club, the Na onal Honor Society, the Na onal Society of High School Scholars and Student Council. Michael is ac ve in the community as well. Over his high school career he has worked with the Community Meals program, volunteered at the Poore Farm, and worked with younger children in the Colebrook Recrea on Department. Kennett High School Salutatorian Kathryn Lees Parents: Jen Meers and Sco Lees Immediate Plans: Quinnipiac University Future Aspira ons: High School Math Teacher Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Kathryn is an excellent example of brilliance, hard work, compassion and kindness. She is known as quiet leader, her down to earth and unassuming diploma c style works well in groups where she can unite ideas with her levelheaded problem solving skills. She is two year member of our Na onal Honor Society, a three year member of the German Honor Society and newly inducted into The Na onal Tri‐ M Music Honor Society. Kathryn is a brilliant musician who plays tenor saxophone, flute, piano and guitar; she is a member of the KHS band, the Jazz Club and the MWV Community Band. Kathryn is a four year member of our tennis team; co‐captain the past two years. She is a two year member of our soccer team, a three year volunteer for the Special Olympics Dolphin Swim Team, a four year ski instructor at King Pine Resort, a member of the counselor training program at Camp Calumet and has been a four year member of our KHS theater group and the local community Arts in Mo on Theater. The past two years, Isabella has won back to back Gold medals in the SkillsUSA , completed frequent media projects for the school and ini ated a school‐wide fundraiser and awareness campaign for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency. White Mountains Regional HS Valedictorian Emma Antoine-Portinari Parents: Eric and Jane Por nari Immediate Plans: Fairfiield University, Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience Future Aspira ons: Work with children with developmental delays Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Emma, an AP Scholar, has won numerous academic awards during her high school career, including the Principal’s Award each year for highest GPA in her class, as well as the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award her junior year. She also a ended the St. Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program the summer of 2015 where she studied Studio Arts. Emma has been a dedicated member of the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America where she served as the Vice President of the Spartan FCCLA chapter her junior and senior years. Emma received a gold medal and a first place finish at the annual NH FCCLA State Conference for her Focus on Children event. Through the project, Emma worked towards improving literacy in the community by crea ng Literacy kits for the local library. She will con nue on to represent the Spartan’s FCCLA chapter at the Na onal Leadership Conference this summer in San Diego with Anastasia Maher. Emma has also been an ac ve member in Student Council where she serves as Secretary, and Na onal Honor Society where she is currently the Treasurer. An accomplished dancer, Emma has devoted many hours each week to dance, winning numerous awards as a member of the Dance Images Compe on Team. At Dance Images, she also volunteers as an Assistant Dance Instructor for the Crea ve Movement class for three‐ five year olds. Through par cipa on in self‐ choreographed dance recitals, Emma has helped to raise money for David’s House and the Make‐A‐Wish Founda on. Through FCCLA, she has enjoyed volunteering to make and deliver gingerbread houses to nursing homes during the holidays. She has also helped with Project Homebound each year, and has worked summers at Santa’s Village. Emma credits White Mountains Regional with having challenged her to be her best and helping her realize her full poten al. She is proud of her involvement in developing the high school’s NH School of Excellence presenta on to the Department of Educa on. She hopes that she has shown current students that it is possible to achieve one’s goals and aspira ons no ma er where you come from.
White Mountains Regional High School Co - Salutatorian Anastasia Maher Parents: Thomas Maher and Joann Sesholtz Immediate Plans: Simmons College, Honors Program, Business Management Future Aspira ons: Hoping to make lives be er through business Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Anastasia has won numerous academic awards at White Mountains Regional High School, including the Harvard Prize Book Award, mul ple Academic Achievement awards, and the tle of AP Scholar. Also, during the summer of 2015, Anastasia a ended St. Paul’s Advanced Studies Program, spending her me in the epic solu ons summer experience. Anastasia has contributed to her school community by being a leader in the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America chapter throughout her four years of high school. She served as Vice President her sophomore year, President her junior and senior years, and helped middle school students become leaders by assis ng the Lancaster Lancers FCCLA chapter. Anastasia will also a end the Na onal FCCLA Conference this summer in San Diego, where she will compete against other delegates in the event, Focus on Children where she won a gold medal, and first place finish along with Emma Por nari. Their project created literacy kits, and used them with a Whitefield Elementary preschool class to promote early childhood literacy. Her Senior Year, Anastasia joined the WMRHS Future Business Leaders of America chapter, and earned first place for the Hospitality Management event at the State Leadership Conference. Anastasia has also been a dedicated member of the Na onal Honor Society, where she serves as Secretary. Outside of school, Anastasia has been dancing since the age of three, and dancing for the Dance Images Compe on Team since age eleven. She has always loved dancing, and is especially excited to end her high school career compe ng at the World Dance Championships this summer. Her team earned a spot at the invita on‐only compe on a er winning the highest score in their division, along with many other awards, this April in Providence, RI. Outside of school, Anastasia also spends her me volunteering at the St. Johnsbury clothing store, North Country Kids, and helping out at fundraisers done by the Class of 2016 Chem‐Free Commi ee. Anastasia is thankful for the close rela onships she has formed with her teachers, and the constant support they have provided.
White Mountains Regional High School Co - Salutatorian Tyler Welch Parents: Quinten and Heather Welch of Lancaster. Immediate Plans: Temple University, major in Interna onal Business, with a focus in Finance, and minor in Spanish. Future Aspira ons: To become a corporate lawyer Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Tyler, an AP Scholar, has earned many academic awards throughout high school, including the Clarkson University Leadership award his junior year. A class leader, Tyler has served as Vice‐President of his class all four years. A dedicated member of the high school community, Tyler has served on Student Council, is Chapter President of the Future Business Leaders of America, is Editor of the Yearbook, Co‐ President of the Spanish Club, and is a member of the Na onal Honor Society. As a member of FBLA, Tyler received two first place finishes in Junior and Senior year – qualifying for na onals each me – in Global Business and Sports and Entertainment Management. During the fall of 2015, Tyler was nominated to represent the student body on the White Mountains Regional School District Strategic Planning Commi ee. He has worked alongside numerous community leaders and professionals to develop a plan for the future that represents the current and future students. An accomplished golfer, Tyler has been a member of the Golf Team for four years. Tyler is also Captain of the Tennis team and won the Coach’s Award in Tennis his sophomore year. He has also volunteered extensively at the Colonel Town Recrea on Department, as a Spanish tutor and through working for the Chem‐Free commi ee. He will be working this summer at the Passumpsic Bank. Through his advanced level coursework in Spanish, Tyler developed a career interest in the Spanish culture and language. During the summer a er his junior year, he organized his own travel to Costa Rica where he stayed one week with a host family and completed a 20 hour Spanish program at the Don Quijote Spanish School in Heredia. Tyler also a ended the Dominican Republic Service Trip in February with other WMRHS students. Tyler credits White Mountains Regional High School for helping to develop his confidence and public speaking skills. As a Youth and Government par cipant for three years, Tyler ran for office and was elected to the Execu ve Council in 2015. As a senior, he was elected Governor in 2016, only the third Spartan to achieve this feat.

Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Cadet Blanche e is a very well rounded student and is involved in numerous school and community organiza ons. She is currently ranked 18th in her gradua ng class of 86 students and maintains a 3.13 grade point average. Ivory is the captain of the JROTC Drill team and has been a member of the high school cheer squad, chorus, Drama and French Clubs. She also was a member of Technology Student Associa on for two years and is a current member of the Na onal Honor Society. Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Thor Bartle is an outstanding academic student at Lin‐Wood Public School He has earned all A's and highest honors throughout his high school career. He is a member of the Na onal Honor Society and upholds the quali es of this organiza on at all mes. He tutors students prior to the start of school on many days and supports these pupils at all mes. He is a par cipant in Youth and Government and many other clubs and ac vi es. Thor is a three sport athlete as he is a member of the soccer, ski, and baseball teams. His leadership in these ac vi es is noteworthy as he sets the bar high for all of the other athletes in the areas of dedica on, posi ve sportsmanship and hard work. Thor is currently par cipa ng in an internship program in engineering at Burndy Corpora on in Lincoln, NH. He is well respected by the management team at Burndy and has helped to provide posi ve connec ons with our school and community. Thor will deeply missed at Lin‐Wood next year as his presence in the hallways, classrooms, and athle c venues, are of the highest degree. We wish him well as his future plans.

Accolades, Achievements, and Awards Taran Morrison is an outstanding academic student who achieves highest honors on a regular basis. His teachers describe Taran as a student who thinks "outside of the box" and a person who helps to bring classes to life. Taran has been a par cipant in Youth and Government for three years and recognized as a person who is always willing to share his ideas and thoughts. Taran has been a member of our school cable television class throughout his high school career. He has provided outstanding leadership and earned the tle of produc ons manager during his senior year. Taran enjoys poetry and has been involved in our Poerty Out Loud program and earned second place in this year's compe on. We will miss Taran's presence next year as he is well respected by his peers and underclassmen and is a posi ve influence in our school.

Has performed an internship at the hospital in the obstetrics department.

She sought out and maintained employment as a pharmacy tech assistant at Ammonoosuc Community Health Center and feedback has been posi ve.

In all cases, Kiana had represented the CTC well. Her character holds strong moral values that are well balanced and produc ve. Her thought process is logical. She is strong and focused, requiring very li le in regards to extrinsic mo vators. She is one of the rare people who may be self‐ actualized at a young age. But more than anything else Kiana has a posi ve a tude. She always has a smile on her face and brings a posi ve a tude to everything she does. When she does encounter setbacks, she accepts them and moves on professionally.
