M s. Br ow n Not es Welcome back, Highlanders! Like many of our incoming 6th grade families, I too am a new face on campus. I am thrilled to be here - to work alongside you - the staff, the students, the families. The Foothills community has opened its arms to me, and I am honored by your welcome. I hope that with a shared sense of commitment, collaboration, and creativity, we can work together to support our students on their learning adventures. We have hit the ground running with a tremendously successful Scottie Days registration. Huge THANK-YOUS go out to our dedicated staff, our valuable parent volunteers, our conscientious student leaders, AND our incomparable office and custodial staff. These registration days work because of YOU! Your generous gifts of time and support are invaluable. Additional thanks to the PTSA for sponsoring our 1st Day Coffee. It was a lovely way to greet and meet our Foothills families. Back to School Night was well attended (even in this heat), and on behalf of the teachers, we thank you for your continued support of our instructional and extracurricular programs. We are all in this together! Feel f r ee t o t o r ef er t o t h e FM S w ebsit e at f h .au sd.n et f or r egu lar u pdat es an d t o r ead ou r w eek ly n ew slet t er .

Chinese Parent Club is a volunteer nature, non-profit organization. We are an important bridge between parents, our school, PTSA and other school clubs. We communicate in Chinese and provide information and communication channels to enable parents to better understand and participate in various school activities. We have a members only Wechat group which serves as an interactive platform for our members to communicate in school related issues. Each year, we organize events and seminars on parenting and education related topics to help parents in understanding some of the challenges that our children are facing while they are growing and learning. Besides, we also organize Spring Teacher Appreciation Banquet, the Chinese Culture Day and other volunteer works for our school.
We encourage all parents who understand Chinese to join our volunteer team and to participate in our school activities. Through our club activities, you can also meet other parents of our schools. The main source of our funding is comingText from annual membership fee. We appreciate your support and join us as members. Please feel free to contact us at Text
